This roofing differs from the standing seam roofings already described in that the turned-up edges a of the sheets "b", "c", and "d" are not locked together, and are of the same height. |

The sheets of roofing are held down by cleats "e", and the flanges are covered with a special cap "f" which covers the openings between the flanges, and forms a satisfactory seam. In starting the roof at the eaves and gables the edges of the roofing are bent down and nailed, as at "g", Fig. 30. |
