One of the problems with moving into an older house like this is the domino effect on your "things to do" list. I promised my wife I would remodel the kitchen and baths first. I can't do that until I level the floors. I can't level the floors until I fix the floor joists. But I can't do that until I fix the footers.

While pulling the siding off one section to the house to get a better look at the joists I found a baseball card inside the wall. I think it fell between the baseboard heater and when the floor sagged, it slid into the wall. I think it's only worth about $7.00. So much for helping with the remodeling costs.
