| We seem to find a lot of these small medicine type bottle. Some still have the
cork still in them. Under the house is so dry that even cloth objects remain.
We seem to find many of the bottles under 2 to 3 inches of dirt. The dirt under
the house is as fine and dusty as talcum powder. What I think the deal is, is
that the top 2 to 3 inches is actually dirt that has worked it's way through
the floor boards over 120 years, slowly (very slowly) covering objects. |
