In 1919 the house was brought back in to the DuVal family by E.T. DuVal and J.F. Duval.

The guest house at Circle Oaks was used as the American Red Cross, East Chesterfield Branch headquarters.
These two photos show the Red Cross Members on the front porch of the guest house.
